Job Description:
- Manage Investor and Servicer (Participating Financial Institution) inquiries via the Service Now application. This would include managing calls utilizing the Microsoft Teams application.
- This includes: providing premier customer servicer, minimizing hold/wait times, coordinating with other team members to ensure coverage needs are met, attempting to resolve customer inquires with one call resolution, managing escalations timely and efficiently and comprehensive documentation to account for call resolution details
- Manage Mortgage Insurance Cancellation requests through the eMAQCS Plus application.
- This would include timely review and communication with Servicers (Participating Financial Institutions), comprehensive documentation to account for summary of review findings, weekly reporting tasks to Investor, accurate and timely updates to Microsoft Access database accounting for review results and queue management to ensure proper prioritization of workload
- Compile and complete monthly or as needed Legacy Reporting tasks.
- This would include dissemination to the end Investors and Servicers, coordination with internal stakeholders to account for data reported, completing analysis and summarizing data where appropriate and coordination with other team members to ensure timely completion
- QC Loss Mitigation Requests for Xtra and Traditional loans. Train staff on underwriting loss mitigation best practices.
- Complete and perform research to resolve complex inquires and or escalations from end Investors and Servicers (Participating Financial Institution)
- Manage adhoc projects as needed specific to Mortgage Partnership Finance Operations
- Cross-train and develop skills in other areas of Mortgage Partnership Finance Operations.
- Leverage knowledge obtained to gain a holistic view of the Mortgage Partnership Finance to better support both internal and external customers
- Mentor and train less tenured team members when needed
- Manage ad hoc or other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- MS Office product (notably Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Access) knowledge.
- Substantial knowledge of the delinquency life cycle start to finish including: early stage, late stage and post conveyance
- Substantial understanding of Investor requirements around Loss Mitigation alternatives used to assist homeowners such as: modifications, forbearance plans, deferrals and repayment plans
- Strong Understanding of Investor requirements around Loss Mitigation alternatives used to assist homeowners such as: modifications, forbearance plans, deferrals and repayment plans
- Experience with effectively managing assigned loss mitigation requests in multiple system queues to ensure process and regulation timelines are met, timely review of submissions for completeness and accuracy, analyzing borrower and loan financial information to determine whether the requests meet Servicing guide requirements and escalating to the applicable investor as needed, timely communication of request decision to Servicers.
- Familiarity with FNMA systems, including but not limited to SMDU, LSDU, Property360 and Asset Management Network
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in a mortgage, banking, of financial services environment
- 5-10 years of FNMA loss mitigation experience
- 3-5 years customer service experience
- 2-year college
- Bachelor’s Degree
